Do these faces look familiair? Romperayo’s drummer Pedro Ojeda and bass player Mario already were on stage with their other band Los Pirañas in june 2022. While visiting Europe again for the LeGuessWho festival they return with Romperayo, slightly less noisy, a bit more Cumbia and again pleasantly insane. Their psychedelic but oh so danceable sound balances on the interface of musical madness and genius.

Romperayo stems from the new Colombian music scene that reinterprets their own musical roots in a fascinating way. The basis are the traditional rhythms, but they are wrapped in a contemporary jacket of electronica and seventies psychedelia.
