Sex, violence, love and the ordinary of life, that is what Droom Dit speaks about in its dutch poetic texts. Their lyrics are wrapped in a modern jacket of raw electronic beats, dreamy guitar lines and cutting edge synthesizers. The whole thing sounds like the deepest love slowly ebbing away, the lethality of loneliness or the bloodthirsty urge for peace in your head.

Inspired by acts such as Spinvis, Radiohead, King Krule, Joy Division and Wende, but also the Dutch literature of Cees Nootenboom, for example, Droom Dit is developing a recognizable sound within contemporary Nederpop.

After the release of their first two singles, Droom Dit's full-length debut EP is now coming out. “Sluit Je Ogen En” will be released on June 9 and Saturday the 10th we will celebrate this at Sickhouse with a release show.
