PEDRO OJEDA (COLOMBIA)

In the recent year, Pedro Ojeda has visited Enschede two times, with his bands Los Pirañas and Chupame El Dedo in 2021 and beginning of 2022. On November 15th he will perform with his band Romperayo, again at Tankstation.

With these bands, together with musicians such as Eblis Alvarez and Mario Galeano and many Bogotá contemporaries Ojeda has shaped a whole new style of Cumbia.

Meanwhile he teaches at the Conservatories in Bogotá and earlier in Canada. But most importantly he has an encyclopedic knowledge of the variety of rhythms in Latin America.
