TENGGER

Tengger is a travelling musical family, made up of a Pan-Asian couple: Itta from South Korea and Marqido from Japan. They create psychedelic New-Age drone magic through the use of Voice, Indian harmonium, toy instruments, synths & electronics. Often they are joined on stage by their son Raai playing Voice, Synth, Toy Instrument and does dance performance. The name Tengger means ‘unlimited expansion of sky’ in Mongolian, which reflects their own unique drone-like ambient sounds.

Their albums are released through renowed labels such as Cardinal Fuzz (Minami Deutsch, The Oscillation) and Guru Guru Brain (Kikagaku Moyo)
