Chupame El Dedo (suck my finger), is a collaboration between the Colombian bands Meridian Brothers and Romperayo, or to be more precise, between Eblis Alvarez and Pedro Ojeda respectively.

It was created for a one off live performance commissioned by the House of World Cultures in Berlin, for the Festival “Evil Music” in October 2013.

Because of the success the band still exists today.

The first album was released in 2016 on Discrepant Records. Weird distorted voices, rock and electronics are mixed with a tropical rhythm section made of salsa, cumbia, currulao & reggaeton. Second album :No Te Metas Con Satan" dates from 2019. Recently they released their awesome new 7inch single called "Mi Rehabilitación".

Expect tropical disoriented madness, stylistic dislocation and curious sounds. Head banging mojitos!

PLEASE NOTE: Sickhouse is located on the top floor of WARP Technopolis/Spacebar at Stationsplein in Enschede. The main entrance of the building (right next to spacebar) will be open for you.

Het werd gemaakt voor een eenmalig live optreden in opdracht van het House of World Cultures in Berlijn, voor het Festival "Evil Music" in oktober 2013.

Door het succes bestaat de band nog steeds. Het eerste album werd uitgebracht in 2016 op Discrepant Records. Rare vervormde stemmen, rock en elektronica worden vermengd met een tropische ritmesectie gemaakt van salsa, cumbia, currulao & reggaeton. Het tweede album "No Te Metas Con Satan" dateert van 2019. Recent kwam de knallende nieuwe single "Mi Rehabilitación" uit.

Verwacht tropische gedesoriënteerde waanzin, stilistische ontwrichting en nieuwsgierige geluiden. Headbangende mojito's!

LET OP: Sickhouse is gevestigd op de bovenste verdieping van WARP Technopolis/Spacebar aan het Stationsplein in Enschede. De hoofdingang van het gebouw (direct naast de spacebar) staat dan voor je open.
